Lambrusco from Quistello
All seven are lightly sparkling (frizzante) reds and rosés at 10.5–11%, from the Quistello co-operative near Mantova. Serve them cool.
Still wines from Cantina Ricchi
Twelve still wines from Cantina Ricchi, in the hills just south of Lake Garda. All are dry except Le Cime, a sweet dessert wine.
Serving notes
- Lambrusco: cool, about 10–16°C. Half an hour in the fridge is plenty.
- Whites and rosé: chilled, about 8–10°C.
- Reds: about 16–18°C, just below room temperature.
- Le Cime: about 14–16°C, in small glasses.
- Sweetness: most of the list is dry. Quistello 80 red and Il Sogno del Duca are slightly off-dry; both were entered as demi-sec at the IWSC (80 Vendemmie, Il Sogno del Duca).
Takes a minute. Nothing is charged until 10 December.
